Working with healthcare and especially pharmaceutical clients in the region, we are always challenged of not being able to speak about medical products directly not to mention the limited healthcare media in this part of the world. Instead, we used medical conferences, partnered with local hospitals and medical organizations to create and raise awareness on Hepatitis C and different treatment options. We set up interviews with world-renowned experts and local doctors to speak on behalf of our clients to media about Hepatitis C and the company’s new treatment options without mentioning the name of the product.
The process also included sending out press releases as well as inviting media to the events and sending them to global medical conferences to cover the stories. The results we get are very impressive with strong coverage in print and online media as well as broadcast across the GCC. We also supported clients with media and crisis management and training for their teams across the region.
